It all began at a cozy wine bar in East Hollywood called Melody, where we met for our first date after being introduced by our mutual friend Jenny, who grew up across the street from Peter and later worked in podcasting with Sophie — a small-world connection that brought us together. 

From that very first night, something just clicked. We fell fast and hard, and two months later, on the eve of Sophie’s 30th birthday, Peter asked her to be his girlfriend over a candlelit dinner at Dunsmoor in Glassell Park, which has since become our go-to spot for special occasions. As our relationship blossomed, we moved in together and made a home in our little apartment in Silver Lake, where we love to take sunset strolls through the surrounding hills, pointing out beautiful flowers and minor celebrities that we spot in the neighborhood.  

Two years later, the day after celebrating Christmas with Sophie's family, Peter whisked her away on a surprise trip to Savannah, Georgia. That evening, in front of the iconic fountain at Forsyth Park — and one benevelont stranger who snapped photos of us — Peter got down on one knee. Through happy tears, we promised to spend forever together.
 

Travel has been one of the great joys of our relationship. We’ve adventured through Southern California, New Orleans, Memphis, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, London, Costa Rica, Italy, and of course, France. One of our most meaningful trips was to Vannes, France — Sophie’s mother’s hometown — where Peter got to explore the charming medieval village and meet our extended family for the first time.
 

Now, we’re so excited to take the next step in our journey by gathering our loved ones from near and far to celebrate together in beautiful Provence.
